What changed since premarket

Anthropic reportedly tripled its 2028 AMD GPU order to 3 GW, per Aletheia via Jukan. Vertiv and GE Vernova raised full-year outlooks, IREN raised $363M backed by already-deployed AI infrastructure as CoreWeave CDS eased, and CXMT's HBM yields drew opposing reads.

01

Anthropic reportedly raised its 2028 AMD GPU order to 3 GW, three times its original 1 GW target

Jukan relayed two claims from research house Aletheia: Anthropic has increased its AMD GPU orders for 2028 to 3 GW, three times its original deployment target of 1 GW, and OpenAI has increased its total planned AMD GPU deployments over 2026 to 2028 from 6 GW to 8 to 9 GW. Neither company confirmed the figures in the cited post.

02

Vertiv raised full-year sales to $14.65 billion and GE Vernova's orders rose 96% organically to $29.3 billion

Vertiv's third-quarter sales of $4.3 billion grew 61%, above the $3.85 billion top of guidance, organic orders grew more than 100%, and full-year sales guidance was raised by $650 million to $14.65 billion, per @photonbull. GE Vernova's orders rose 96% organically to $29.3 billion; it raised full-year revenue guidance to $46.5 to $47.5 billion, expects backlog above $200 billion in the fourth quarter and doubled its buyback to $20 billion.

03

IREN secured $363 million backed by already-deployed AI infrastructure as CoreWeave's CDS eased to about 1,040bp

IREN secured $363 million from Wingspire Equipment Finance; Finn Stockinger notes it is backed by infrastructure already deployed and generating revenue, not new GPU purchases. @ren_stocks says CDS on AI builders turned lower, with CoreWeave back to about 1,040bp from above 1,100 and Oracle under 300. @ces921 says debt funding has risen from 9% to 32% of hyperscaler capex in a year.

04

CXMT's HBM yields are cited near 20%, while Zephyr says it still earns 60% to 71% gross margin on HBM

Jonah Lupton says CXMT's HBM yields are below 30%, with some overnight reports saying closer to 20%, and that its DRAM supply is not enough to meet China demand. Zephyr counters that CXMT's HBM3 costs about $2/Gb against selling prices of $5 to $7/Gb, giving 60% to 71% gross margin at these yields, and expects yields to reach 50% to 70% by the second quarter.
