Jukan and a BofA note tie CXMT's 4F² push to its DUV limits, while Macquarie sees its growth absorbed by China
Jukan argues CXMT has hit the limits of DUV scaling and is moving from 6F² to 4F² at a 13 to 14nm node to extend DUV, saying Samsung and SK hynix hold off only because yields aren't there. A BofA note relayed by @pequityresearch links CXMT's 4F² push to its EUV restrictions. Jonah Lupton, relaying Macquarie's Katherine Zheng, says CXMT bit shipments grow ~35% in 2027 and ~45% in 2028, mostly absorbed by China.
