Cosmos losing builders; avoid
Cosmos is losing builders because it is stuck in an uncanny valley: its tech is real and usable, but it is not used enough to thrive, segmentation and poor tooling make it hard to build on, and DYDX's migration there coincided with activity falling off a cliff. Builders are instead moving to EVM L1s and alt L1s where interop, tooling, and infrastructure are much stronger.

Short L2s, long high-throughput L1s.
The app-chain thesis is dead because seamless integration has not been solved and decentralization no longer drives value. Cosmos and Polkadot are done, L2s like Arbitrum and Optimism are done, and he would short a basket of those versus long a basket of high-throughput L1s.

Cosmos token done, no buying sense.
Cosmos built a good framework and consensus mechanisms, but the ATOM token has no real use and no real leadership; Cosmos as an ecosystem is done and public infrastructure, and the token is not coming back. Buying ATOM makes no sense.
