Avoid CryptoPunks; 2021 NFT meta over
He sold his CryptoPunk for tax-loss harvesting and no longer wants to hold it. CryptoPunks were a 2021 meta and once a crypto meta is over it rarely comes back; there are 10,000 punks, constant tax-loss sellers, and Bitcoin has rallied 500% while punks are down 70-80%. He prefers liquidity for Bitcoin, Hyperliquid, or Aster.
Long Robinhood as five-year no-brainer
He remains ridiculously bullish on Robinhood and calls it a no-brainer trade for the next five years, though he does not give a detailed supporting thesis beyond long-term conviction.
Long Tesla for humanoid robotics exposure
Still very bullish on Tesla for the robotics thesis; it is the only clean public way to get exposure to humanoid robotics. He warns Tesla's valuation is totally out of whack and it could draw down 50%, but the long-term robotics optionality keeps him bullish.
Long commodities on Trump inflation policy
Trump may take steps to radically increase inflation in the US over the next four years and mortgage the nation's future, which makes him very bullish on commodities. He later focuses on specific Trump-aligned commodity plays like REMX rather than the broad BCOM/GSCI basket.
Avoid commodities indices; high prices cure
Commodities would be the wrong bet under a Trump inflationary stimulus; retail flows first go to Bitcoin, NASDAQ, or Tesla. In commodities, high prices cure high prices because production comes out of the woodwork, so broad commodity indices like GSCI and BCOM are unattractive.
Long Intel on Trump government support
Trump taking a stake in Intel and Intel signing US government contracts is a no-brainer signal to buy Intel, as it aligns with national security and potential inflationary/industrial policy support.
Long REMX on rare earth war
China has started a soft war over rare earth minerals, so US-based rare earth mineral companies will likely need government support. He is super bullish on REMX and has about 5% of his portfolio in it.
Short Aptos versus Bitcoin
The only good altcoin trades in this environment are dangerous relative shorts that have historically not worked well, such as shorting Aptos versus Bitcoin, because altcoin valuations are unsustainable without serious crypto uptake.
Long UNH on healthcare dysfunction
UnitedHealth fell from $600 to $324, roughly back to 2020 levels before its massive runup. He thinks this is a good place to get back in if you are bullish on US healthcare dysfunction, which he frames as a durable and investable theme.
Long RKLB as space pure-play
RKLB is the only public stock he is long for space exploration. SpaceX's private valuation has soared, private space/robotics investments are hard to access, and he thinks RKLB could 10-15x, with space and humanoid robotics as themes that could 100x.
Short L1 tokens versus Bitcoin
The next big crypto trade is to short all L1s against Bitcoin or profitable crypto. Flows and monetary premium matter, and even the best and most-used L1s like Ethereum and Solana have gone sideways for four to five years despite massive growth. ETH specifically is a DAO/company whose fee burn is cannibalized by L2s and block space is now near-infinite, making it hard for fees/value to return. Optimism and Arbitrum vs Bitcoin are smooth downward charts and safe shorts, and short squeezes can be managed by shorting after bounces.
Watch HYPE; wait for supply clear
HYPE is underperforming because teams are unlocking and selling, creating a supply overhang, and new competition like Aster and Lighter is emerging. Long-term he views Hyperliquid as the Uniswap of perp DEXs with no KYC and real traction, so it could be a dip buy, but he wants to wait for supply to clear, the falling knife to stop, and volume to normalize before buying.
Watch AERO; wait for bottom
Aerodrome is a proxy for transactions occurring on Ethereum, so it is a good long-term crypto theme if you believe on-chain transactions will grow. However, he warns not to catch the falling knife; wait for the bottom, seeing huge volume bars followed by crickets and then a tick up before buying.
Long Zcash on hack-driven demand
Zcash is now in the public consciousness as a privacy asset, and every time there is a large hack, people will likely shove money into Zcash to hide proceeds. Since crime and hacks are unlikely to stop, this creates a repeated demand driver.
