He studied physics at university and is self-taught in investing, having started in late 2019 while working as a bartender, and he is based in Sydney, Australia. He posts as @finphysnerd and covers deep-value and international small caps alongside large-cap US names, and he is candid about the limits of his own edge — on 20 July 2026 he wrote, "I've built up a bit of oil exposure here through $HBR.L and $KOS. I am an absolute tourist and a contra here."
