Mark Minervini is an independent stock trader and author who runs trading education and a research platform under his own name. He won the U.S. Investing Championship in 1997 and again in 2021, and is the author of "Trade Like a Stock Market Wizard," "Think & Trade Like a Champion" and "Mindset Secrets for Winning"; he was also interviewed in Jack Schwager's "Stock Market Wizards." Describing his own start, he wrote on 7 March 2026 that he "didn't get truly serious about trading until I was 25 in 1990" and that it took until age 28 to "fully commit to the discipline necessary to trade at the highest level." His posts cover momentum and growth-stock setups in individual US names and the broad indices.
