Kim Je-i (김제이) is the editor-in-chief of Blockmedia (블록미디어), a Korean news outlet covering blockchain, digital assets and the digital economy. Kim began reporting at Maekyung Biz in 2017, joined Newsis in 2018 as the agency's first reporter dedicated to digital assets, became a senior reporter at the Hankyoreh's CoinDesk Korea in 2022 and has been Blockmedia's editor-in-chief since 2024, following Korea's digital-asset market from its early days through institutionalisation. A 2017 graduate in Korean literature from Sogang University, Kim is the lead author of 비트코인 절세·증여·상속 사용설명서 (2025), a guide to bitcoin tax, gifts and inheritance, and co-wrote 코인부자는 무엇이 달랐나 (2024), on what set successful crypto investors apart. In 2026 Kim has appeared regularly on 3PRO TV's Crypto PLUS (크립토 PLUS) and Maeil Business TV's 코인이 머니, discussing bitcoin, digital-asset regulation and the macro forces that move crypto prices.
