Deiya Pernas is co-founder and analyst at Pernas Research, an independent value-focused equity research firm he started with his brother Dean in 2023. He began his career as an analyst in Morgan Stanley's wealth management division, then joined The Bahnsen Group as a founding member, becoming a partner in 2017 and serving as Deputy Chief Investment Officer with responsibility for stock selection, portfolio construction and trading. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and is a CFA charterholder. He appears on Buzzberg through the Monetary Matters podcast.
