Equal-weight broadening needs earnings confirmation
Since mid-November, healthcare, utilities, energy, and materials have shown better relative performance while Mag 7-heavy tech, communication services, and consumer discretionary have lagged. She sees the broadening trade as heavily dependent on earnings: consensus expects Mag 7 to slow slightly and everything else to accelerate, but Mag 7 has repeatedly surprised to the upside while the rest has disappointed, so the equal-weight/everything-else trade has a high bar. Near term it may be positioning/valuation-driven after growth's premium peaked at 85%, but continuation needs earnings.
Prefer strong hyperscalers over levered AI financiers
She distinguishes hyperscalers with low net debt to EBITDA, such as Microsoft and Google, from companies with already high debt that are adding more, such as Oracle and Blue Owl. Microsoft and Google have room to spend and borrow before the market pushes back, while data-center buildout returns not exceeding weighted average cost of capital and off-balance-sheet financing raise the risk that investors question the spending and push for capital returns.

Gold overbought; consolidation risk rises
Gold has been extremely resilient and has burned off overbought conditions sideways, but she says it now looks like a momentum/meme asset, its risk profile has become riskier, and weekly RSI is very overbought. Since assets that double in under two years tend to have lower odds of a big gain in year three, she would not be surprised by consolidation, especially if the Fed is less dovish and other central banks near the end of cuts; she still sees long-term dollar-debasement/fiscal-dominance exposure.
Buy growth on valuation consolidation
Although value has rallied and the two styles may jockey for position, she expects growth to retain stronger earnings. If growth valuations consolidate closer to value, she would use that as an opportunity to go into growth because growth earnings remain significantly stronger than value.
Healthcare is preferred tech rotation
When asked which sector she would rotate out of tech into, she chose healthcare. Earlier she noted healthcare was among the sectors showing better relative performance since mid-November as Mag 7-heavy tech, communication services, and consumer discretionary lagged.
DXY falls in 2026
In the rapid-fire 2026 outlook, she said the U.S. dollar index (DXY) would go down. No detailed rationale was provided for the dollar call.
Favor DM over emerging markets
In the rapid-fire 2026 outlook, she chose developed markets over emerging markets. No detailed rationale was given.
10-year yield drifts toward 5%
She expects the 10-year Treasury yield to move toward 5% but not quite reach it. Earlier she explained the long end is driven by supply/demand and growth/inflation data rather than Fed control, with sticky inflation pushing yields up and only a labor-market scare producing a big bond rally; her rapid-fire answer leans toward higher yields as the Fed nears the end of cuts.
Bitcoin recovers above $100,000
She views Bitcoin as a key liquidity and risk-appetite indicator. Despite recent selling pressure, lack of conviction, and leverage in crypto and retail accounts, she expects Bitcoin to be above $100,000 when asked, saying it is not far away; a recovery would be a broad risk-on signal.
Cautiously neutral on US equities
She calls herself 'defiantly neutral' on 2026 and says it is hard to be incredibly bullish on equities at 22.5x forward earnings and 14% expected earnings growth, especially with a 40% six-month rise in FINRA margin loan balances signaling exuberance. She expects volatility and better opportunities as the year progresses rather than a clean bull or bear call.
