Been contributing to my 403b for many years. Value is about 450k and I’m currently contributing 17% of my salary into this account.
Also recently (~2 years) started contributing 5% salary to a 457 account (value about 17k).
Have only been contributing Roth (no set monthly amount but after selling some bonds in another brokerage account at a loss, maxed it contributions for a couple of years). That balance is about 30k.
Should I reduce my pretax contributions into my 403b and 457 to make regular contributions to my Roth? Don’t currently have enough cash flow to contribute to Roth at the moment.
Also about 4 years from a teacher pension. Wife has similar accounts. We have a big mortgage but 2.5% interest rate and our house value has increased substantially in the five years we have lived here.
Appreciate any thoughts/advice!
