Hi everyone,
I’m a beginner investor and I had a doubt about taxes on ETFs.
If I sell my ETFs using apps like Groww / INDmoney / Zerodha, do they automatically cut the tax amount?
Or do we have to pay the tax ourselves separately?
Also how does it actually work:
• Is there an option inside the app to pay the tax?
• Or do we pay it later while filing ITR?
• Do we need to go “in person” somewhere to pay it?
If anyone can explain in simple words, please help 🙏
