Everyone says just follow discipline, have a setup, manage risk, but in reality F&O is brutal because you’re trading against institutions with thousands of crores, faster execution, better data, and full time teams, so it’s not a fair game; even disciplined people struggle, and once you take losses you stop thinking clearly and start trading to recover, which leads to overtrading and bigger drawdowns, if you’ve already lost money, trying to make it back in F&O usually makes it worse, and if you’re thinking of entering, honestly don’t, because for most people F&O isn’t high risk high reward, it’s high risk slow bleed.
