I’m 25 and recently got back from The Yacht Week in Croatia which is basically a week-long sailing event that attracts young people from around the world. I went thinking it would just be a vacation, but what surprised me was how differently people view money. Most were in their 20s–30s, but their financial mindset was miles ahead including investing early, living abroad through remote work, and using experiences like this to build networks, not just blow cash. It hit me that financial freedom isn’t about quitting your job, it’s about having choice. Made me reflect on how we, in India, often save to survive, not to live with flexibility.
