Let's be practical, politics requires money and that funding is provided by businessman. In absence of industries , it's the muscleman who then take care of political funding as in general the voters never fund the political party even in a mature democracy.
The elections are still far and considering indian elections cannot be predicted even 2 months before , 3 years is a huge time.
But still I beleive politicians are very smart and they do make moves before . The man Friday of our PM would take the biggest hit if he loses ., many are claiming at present he along with his cronies are eyeing every sector where even 30-40 crore revenue is there.
I came to know recently how GVK infra was armtwisted to hand over Mumbai airport operations to Adani.
If Modi loses , the other lobby would get activated . Adani isn't like Ambani who has more leverage over political instability., he has to meet and greet regional leaders for his smooth operations. Even now in closed circles , he says that he is just 15% man, the other 85 % is taken by others. It's not only Adani, even in Mumbai realty I know 10 builders who are bidding big but are just proxies for someone sitting in Ahmedabad. Let's not even talk about other industries, I am sure there are many who are heavily relied on political patronage.
With orange man still ruling america ,our exports will continue to take a hit. FDI taking out money only means they know something which we don't .
Do you think it's really feasible to do SIP with a 5-7 year horizon.
Considering I along with others are SIP investors or invest in blue chip companies believing in the long term game but observing on ground how consumer demand is actually very less as each time I go to enquire school admission, real estate or even buying an airfryer i constantly get bombarded by telecallers which only means the pie is lessas the aspirational population has actually given up on the country
