rec a company that is NOT RESTRICTIVE? We are deciding where to roll wife's 401k when she retires at end of year. After initial research we know we need a company that is NOT RESTRICTIVE about withdrawal amounts or timing. We want to either pay down or pay off our mortage to save that interest expense flowing out and lower our monthly expenses in an effort to sustain ourselves with my SS and our modest dividend portfolio. I think we need to roll into another 401k rather than Roth so we don't pay interest on all of it now, as that would stretch the taxed income into all the higher brackets including 24/32/35%. So the basic plan is roll then withdraw a chunk.
