This sub and most of life is full of “why would you do that when you could just invest in \_\_\_\_\_”.
I have this conversation with people and I always ask why? What am I saving for? What am I sacrificing for? Investing so I can say I have hundreds of thousands of dollars that I’ll never use? It’s just numbers on a screen at that point.
You’ll only be 24 running around Europe once, spontaneous 29 year old once, 35 in a super car once, so why waste it just have numbers on a screen that you’ll more than likely die with
