Before you say anything, yes, I may be a idiot. But at least I am not using AI like 90% of this sub.
Earlier someone made a discussion post ridiculing the bears. This was very homophobic…
Crude (ACTUAL PHYSICAL, NOT PAPER) oil is at a all time high.
The VIX is about 18 (21 being the historical average). If looking only at the VIX you would assume that the current atmosphere is more calm and mild then usual. In other words, the money in the market is acting as if nothing is happening.
Except we are in a situation where a significant (at the very least, noticeable) amount of Middle East oil infrastructure is destroyed, you have demand destruction in Asia, Africa, and soon Europe if this continues, the main person (Jesus Christ the Red Cross worker?) making the important geopolitical decisions is seemingly schizophrenic, most of the S&P is concentrated in about 7 companies (Nifty-Fifty flash back), and lastly the debt situation (both speaking about government and private) is interesting to say the least.
Not necessarily saying the market will crash, but it would not surprise me, and I definitely think these are valid concerns.
Anyway, let’s all argue about it like regards until it eventually happens 😀
