So I’m considering moving to Robinhood and naturally came across several comparisons to Fidelity in which most people say that Fidelity is better. I’m not really sure of the reasons for this despite several open threads. The main complaints I could find about Robinhood state that the UI promotes gambling. Not sure how this is a serious issue given that you could certainly hold long term investments on Robinhood as well. It seems to me that if a user interface is the driving cause of your investments, you shouldn’t be investing. The GME complaints seem to be unsubstantiated. The IRA matching on Robinhood seems too good to beat. Absolutely no hate to anyone who prefers Fidelity or dislikes Robinhood, I just want to make sure I’m not missing anything.
