I’m retired and considering rolling a TSP into an IRA to get Robinhood’s 2 percent match. I already have a Robinhood gold account so it would be easy to do. The 2 percent match would be a nice little chunk of money and I plan on leaving the IRA alone for a decade so there is no worry about a match clawback.
Do you think I could setup a better Boglehead portfolio in Robinhood than what is available in the TSP account? TSP seems to have done well with its limited funds and the fees are very low. I would probably use VOO or VTI, VXUS, and BND, in Robinhood, so the fees would also be very low.
