Did read wiki page but have some specific questions that I hope someone can help me with.
Just recently started an IKBR account and set up a recurring investment (I assume I have an investment horizon of more than 40 years at least, I hope).
Read loads about investing in S&P500 and how that is basically the no frills, real investment for the future. Curious to know since we are all based in HK - buying SPY will subject us to U.S. estate and withholding tax - so is the next most solid option the VUAA (incorporated under a LSE structure)? Or any other solid options tracing the S&P index with low management fee?
PS: I know the general philosophy not to try to time the market but i still fell prone to thinking what if the US markets fail lol.
