From reading many books, one truth becomes clear: everything comes down to consistency.
Who are you?
You are nothing but an infinite learner.
Who are profitable traders?
They are simply people who practice consistency.
But before consistency, there is learning; how to make things simpler.
Profitable traders repeat the same actions again and again. People call this boring, but the truth is that trading and markets are boring by nature.
Then a question arises:
If trading is so simple, why do most people fail?
Because they repeat patterns without understanding them.
At least once, everyone makes money. Why does that happen?
Think about it.
When you truly understand why you made money and then repeat that exact process, you begin the journey toward profitability. Once you identify a setup and repeat it consistently, confidence is naturally built.
Over time, what was once exciting becomes boring.
Then you try to delegate it.
Then you try to automate it.
You move from manual execution to algorithms.
This journey is painful.
But belief in yourself and belief in your edge are essential. Focus on the process that brings profits and do not become obsessed with losses. Most people think primarily about their losses. They analyze losing trades again and again, and consciously or unconsciously, they end up repeating them.
This is the trader’s psychology.
If you trap yourself in a loop, it slowly becomes harmful; fear of entry, increasing position size to recover losses, overtrading. And that behavior itself becomes a pattern.
Understand this clearly:
You are the one doing this.
And because of that, you are also the one who can solve it.
Creating a losing pattern is a slow process.
Switching from losses to profitability is also a slow process.
But consistency and belief walk with you.
And together, they make the journey faster.
This is an eternal truth that applies not just to trading, but to all human pursuits.
