Hello everyone,
I’m 27 and looking to start investing. I already have an emergency fund in place, so now I want to focus on **long-term, relatively safe investments** rather than short-term gains.
I’m planning to invest **€15k initially** and have been researching ETFs such as **VTI, VOO, and SPLV**. I’m wondering whether it makes sense to split my investment across different ETFs, and if so, how to think about allocation. Should I prioritise broad market exposure, or would it be reasonable to dedicate a small percentage to slightly riskier assets for higher long-term growth?
I’d really appreciate an open discussion and different perspectives. Investing isn’t something my parents are familiar with (or particularly supportive of), and after a recent breakup I no longer have someone close to bounce these ideas off, so I’m trying to educate myself and make a well-reasoned decision.
Thank you in advance for any insights.
