Trade Ideas
Natural gas play, pullback opportunity.
Venture Global is one of the best ways to invest in America's natural gas edge. The stock has pulled back about 20% over the past month due to peace fears, but those fears are overblown. $11 seems right to me.
Turnaround story with strong brand.
Under Armour's turnaround is here. CEO Kevin Plank is about to fire up the engine, and the brand is still strong as many people wear the insignia. You can still get in before the momentum builds.
Management instability concern.
I'm worried about On Holding's very quick management turnover without explanation. That is a red flag and makes me cautious on the stock.
Valuation reasonable, wait for pullback.
Cisco's stock has had a monster move, but it sells for just 23 times forward earnings, so it isn't that expensive. However, you may be a little late without a pullback. Be careful but the data center business is bright.
Avoid Adobe before Figma report.
You probably don't want to own Adobe on the day Figma reports, because Figma is an eclectic design distributor that has made life difficult for Adobe. Figma could deliver terrific earnings, making Adobe vulnerable.
Semiconductor equipment supply crunch.
Applied Materials, Lam Research, and KLA are in the same position—they simply can't produce enough semiconductor capital equipment. This confluence of lackluster supply and insatiable demand makes me feel like you can still buy those stocks.
FedEx is the logistics winner.
I don't buy stocks for yield, I buy for growth, and therefore I buy FedEx because that is the winner. CEO Raj Subramaniam is doing a remarkable job.
Profiting from refining spread.
Valero Energy is a buy because as long as the spread between the price of gasoline and what they buy oil for remains wide, they will print money.
Cheapest memory stock, huge upside.
Micron is the cheapest even after this run. It's earlier in the phase than you think. The stock sells for just six times earnings and there is endless demand with not enough supply. It's going to $1000.
Profitable fintech, strong opportunity.
Affirm reported a terrific quarter, now very profitable, and its network is more powerful. I think you're getting a great opportunity here.
Burger King turnaround accelerating.
Burger King's American business is taking share with 5.8% same-store sales growth. The turnaround is real, they are in the early innings, and CEO Tom Curtis says this is the new normal. It's making money for shareholders.
Electronics chemicals growth story.
Element Solutions is a specialty chemicals company benefiting from the AI buildout and data center intensity. The portfolio is well positioned, and even after a 73% YTD run it still trades under 24x earnings. It can keep climbing.
Avoid unprofitable momentum stock.
Digi Power X has been straight up but is not making money. I have to say pass.
Hold great steel company.
Steel Dynamics is a great company. Why would you do anything other than hold?
Wait for dip to buy ASML.
ASML is a great stock. It's been straight up since a great quarter. After the $75 move today, let's hope for a down day and get in. I don't want to top tick, but I think you got a great one.
Data center power demand play.
Bloom Energy is non-combustible power, and all the data centers are going crazy for it. You should buy it.
Oil and gas value play.
APA (formerly Apache) has come down a little, and I like it. I think you got a good one.
Undervalued memory stock.
Seagate is one of the memory stocks that are undervalued. They trade at incredibly low price-to-earnings ratios despite massive demand and supply constraints. It's not too late to buy.
Undervalued memory stock.
Western Digital is one of the memory stocks that are undervalued. They trade at incredibly low price-to-earnings ratios despite massive demand and supply constraints. It's not too late to buy.
