Doug Casey Founder, International Man The David Lin Report
Avoid North American markets except resources
He is not sanguine about any North American markets today except the resource market. The US government has grown at the expense of the private economy, running $2 trillion to $3 trillion deficits, and the Federal Reserve has cranked distortions and misallocations into the economy. Unwinding them would bankrupt businesses and unemploy people, and he sees a greater depression ahead that will be worse and longer-lasting than 1929-1946.
