Live entertainment benefits as AI music proliferates
As AI-generated music becomes indistinguishable from human-made music, trust in recorded and screen-based music will erode, increasing the premium on live, in-person, human performances and theater.

Live events win as AI frees time.
Emanuel says he is not going to try to out-think AI and has instead decided to sit in live content, which he knows how to monetize. His thesis is that the opposite bet to AI is not data centers but live human connection: as AI and robots shorten the work week from five days to four and probably to three, people get far more free time and want in-person experiences. He has raised about $2 billion to buy and roll together live event assets (Endeavor alone ran roughly 700 events) into a pure-play events business, the same way Live Nation is a pure play in music, and cites weekday drive times concentrated between 11am and 4pm and sharply higher Thursday hotel bookings as evidence the three-day weekend is already here.
