Summary

Ari Emanuel joins the All-In hosts to trace Endeavor's path from a talent agency into an owner of assets such as PBR, the UFC and eventually WWE inside TKO. He argues that infinite distribution has made content abundant, that podcasters will rebuild the old syndication model and should own equity in products instead of taking sponsorship dollars, and that the contrarian bet against AI is live human connection rather than data centers. He reviews TKO's post-merger integration, its broadcast deals and its international expansion, and describes a new roughly $2 billion pure-play live events company launching in October. He closes on Elon Musk's humanoid robots, which he expects to be mass produced and highly profitable.

  • Endeavor moved from representation into owning assets, buying Professional Bull Riding and the UFC, then merging with WWE to form TKO.
  • Emanuel says TKO shares merged near $100, fell to $79 and reached $200, with PBR, On Location and IMG integrated and broadcast deals completed.
  • He has raised about $2 billion for a new private pure-play live events company completing in the first week of October.
  • His central view is that the opposite bet on AI is live human connection, not data centers.
  • He expects AI and robots to shorten the work week toward three days, leaving much more time for entertainment.
  • Podcasting is framed as the new syndication business, with creators owning equity in products rather than selling sponsorships.
  • Fast formats such as UFC and bull riding suit shorter attention spans, while slower sports must adapt and may need lower domestic pricing.
  • International expansion into Shanghai, Abu Dhabi, Brazil and Japan is described as a requirement for continued growth in live sports.

Live events win as AI frees time.
Emanuel says he is not going to try to out-think AI and has instead decided to sit in live content, which he knows how to monetize. His thesis is that the opposite bet to AI is not data centers but live human connection: as AI and robots shorten the work week from five days to four and probably to three, people get far more free time and want in-person experiences. He has raised about $2 billion to buy and roll together live event assets (Endeavor alone ran roughly 700 events) into a pure-play events business, the same way Live Nation is a pure play in music, and cites weekday drive times concentrated between 11am and 4pm and sharply higher Thursday hotel bookings as evidence the three-day weekend is already here.

TKO integration and deals are working.
Emanuel says TKO is delivering what management promised at the WWE-UFC merger two years ago: the two businesses have been streamlined and integrated, PBR, On Location and IMG were folded in during February to complete the sports suite for buyers, and the major broadcasting deals are done. He notes the stock merged around $100, fell to $79 and hit $200 the day before, and says the company is in a great place, with David Ellison as a partner, the WWE launch on ESPN with Bob Iger and Jimmy Pitaro, and the Canelo fight on Netflix. The pure-play sports and sports-entertainment structure was the whole point of the merger, because the market never gave value to the old Endeavor conglomerate.

Humanoid robots scale and become profitable.
After visiting Elon Musk to discuss staging a UFC fight between robots, Emanuel says the humanoid he was shown (a third or fourth generation machine with an impressive hand, kicking and boxing, with movement and charging solved) supports an incredible economic argument: only about 100 million Americans are working bodies, one robot covers roughly five people, works 24 hours a day and creates no HR issues. He expects Musk to be able to produce a million of them and says it is going to be really profitable, and he ties the same labor displacement to his forecast of a three-day work week.
