Mohammed Dewji President and CEO, MeTL Group Bloomberg Markets
Graphite supply gap from China is opportunity
China dominates 90% of graphite processing, but the West is growing nervous about reliance on China, creating a supply gap. Africa, specifically Tanzania, can fill this gap by processing and refining graphite, providing a non-China supply that brings comfort to Western buyers. Dewji is investing $275 million to build this capacity and has offtake agreements with Western partners, viewing it as a great opportunity.

Nomi Prins Founder and CEO of Prinsights Global The David Lin Report
Critical minerals benefit from geopolitical tensions.
Geopolitical commodity warfare is accelerating, with export controls on critical materials like rare earths, tungsten, antimony, graphite, and gallium. These hard heavy metals are essential for modern supply chains and are seeing restricted supply. This environment creates upside for select companies in these spaces and deserves at least a small allocation.
