Tom Mackenzie is a London-based Bloomberg Television anchor who co-anchors The Opening Trade, Bloomberg's program for the European market open, and hosts Bloomberg Tech Europe, a monthly show on the region's technology sector. He was previously Bloomberg Television's China correspondent in Beijing, where he covered the US-China trade war, the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and China's technology industry and interviewed Alibaba founder Jack Ma, Baidu's Robin Li and Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei. Earlier he was a reporter and producer at CNBC. His other interviews include OpenAI's Sam Altman, Google DeepMind's Demis Hassabis and JPMorgan's Jamie Dimon, and his coverage focuses on markets, technology and China.
