YMTC leads NAND stacking, serious threat.
YMTC is a similarly serious NAND threat, arguably stronger than CXMT is in DRAM. YMTC already holds about 14% of the NAND market, higher than CXMT's roughly 8% DRAM share. Its edge is in ultra-high-layer NAND and 3D stacking/package technology; Jeon says YMTC is the fastest at stacking and can compete with Western firms. As NAND moves toward 400+, 600+, or even 1,000 layers, that 3D stacking advantage becomes structural. He expects YMTC's listing to deliver a CXMT-like shock to Korean memory names.
