Silver is critical AI/defense metal
Silver is not primarily a precious metal but a critical industrial mineral. Drones are the new tanks and consume enormous amounts of disposable silver, and silver is also essential for semiconductors, solar, AI/data-center efficiency, and broader electrification. Supply/demand scarcity means silver is in a 'banana zone' and rising at roughly twice gold's pace, with silver/utility charts going higher.
Memory shortage drives HBM stock boom
There is a severe high-bandwidth memory and DRAM shortage relative to AI demand, creating a race to buy in massive size. Micron, SanDisk, Western Digital, SK hynix, and Samsung are in a 'banana zone' because memory is a necessary conversion layer from energy into intelligence, and DRAM prices are up sharply.
Ethereum leads next crypto breakout
The market is in a utility phase: Ethereum over Bitcoin is the crypto analogue of silver over gold. As gold/Bitcoin led and utility lagged, Ethereum is now the one to watch for the breakout, and Bitcoin should follow once the utility trade kicks in.
Ethereum leads next crypto breakout
Bitcoin is set for a silver-like short squeeze this year or next. Retail has been burned and does not want to buy while it is low, while ETF/stablecoin network effects offset OG whale redistribution. The next move above $100k likely will not reverse. He has bought more Bitcoin over the last two months than at any time in his life and would rather own it before a move to $300k than chase after a dip to $75k.
Small caps, value, commodities lead
This is a 1970s-style commodity/reflation backdrop. Investors should focus on small caps, value, and commodity-related names. Energy and materials are already the two best-performing sectors and tech is the second worst; commodities are the year's theme. Because fossil fuels are oversupplied, an energy price spike is unlikely to create a demand shock that kills the theme.
Software and abundance tech at risk
Software names and everything tied to 'abundance' will be in trouble as the market rotates to commodities. Tech is already the second-worst sector this year, and the OpenAI situation adds another risk to tech stocks.
Reflationary boom lifts stocks and metals
A reflationary boom is underway: inflation may rise modestly but oil is capped by oversupply, earnings are growing about 15%, the economy is growing 4-5%, and Fed rate cuts are likely. The stock market and precious metals can both move higher, so being out of the market is the real risk.
Tesla is best Mag 7 pick
Tesla is his pick to be the best-performing Mag 7 stock. It is at the center of integrating AI into the physical world through full self-driving, robotaxis, humanoid robots, and vertical manufacturing. Elon Musk's 10-year plan, Gigafactory scale, and potential SpaceX/XAI combination give Tesla a unique physical-AI ecosystem, even though traditional valuation does not apply.
Ford and US automakers avoid
Ford and legacy US automakers are structurally disadvantaged against Tesla and China because they lack dark factories and humanoid/robotic manufacturing. China is already there, Musk will be there, and no US car manufacturer will be there. With labor the largest cost, robots working 168 hours a week make traditional auto manufacturing uncompetitive.
MicroStrategy needs Bitcoin and volatility higher
MicroStrategy remains a long-term moat story as the capital structure of the future: it owns roughly 4% of all Bitcoin (about 700k BTC) and should benefit as Bitcoin becomes collateral and tokenization/stablecoins reshape finance. He still owns it and bought more in the last 48 hours. The premium is compressed because Bitcoin and volatility are low, but it needs Bitcoin and Ethereum higher and volatility to pick back up; in a new 'banana zone' it will be viewed differently.
