[+10] u/jrex035: So we now have the official data to show that GDP growth was lower, inflation higher, AND job gains fell off a cliff last year compared with 2024, all while the deficit was effectively flat (it would've been ~$2T without the tariff tax hike), home sales posted some of their worst figures ever, personal debt surged, layoffs soared, we *lost* more than 100k manufacturing jobs, tourism plummeted, and the trade deficit hit new all time highs.
Do you feel it folks? The GoLdEn AgE is here!
[+9] u/Maga1498: Cant wait for Trump's meltdown tweet
[+9] u/looool_k_libtard: Trump blamed democrats 40 minutes before GDP came out for the shutdown causing bad numbers 😂 fucking hell man. Rising inflation, job growth revised by over a million for 2025, wages terrible.
[+9] u/Outrageous_Tip_2133: Now that the Supreme Court just showed some spine, will the Congress (especially the Republicans) show similar courage to stand up to a bully? I am expecting mid-night Truth social unhinged rants against "liberal activist" Supreme Court judges. Ironically, three of them are conservatives, two appointed by Trump himself, and one by Bush.
[+9] u/jnas_19: Tariffs struck down by court
[+8] u/InvestigatorPlus3229: 3 justices thought the tariffs are legal clown clown clown
[+7] u/DefinitionOk3737: Tariffs struck down, RIP Iran
[+7] u/Reggio_Calabria: The US economy is in a tremendous shape according to Donald Trump’s personal physician.
[+7] u/UnObtainium17: Trump said he has a backup plan… do not count on it being legal though.
[+7] u/Viking999: Stagflation is here woo woo. Inflation up, GDP down to 1.4 percent vs expected 2.8
[+7] u/Reggio_Calabria: The SCOTUS were delaying their decision on tariffs being (of course) illegal.
All it took was seeing Prince Andrew arrested on his birthday and suddenly they remembered their collaboration with the Trump regime would bite them if they continued to support him.
Capitalism works in convoluted ways.
[+6] u/philphan25: The 50K quote is going to be on all the timelines
[+6] u/PhasedVenturer: Whatever the day, you know dogshit NVO will be down lol
[+6] u/UnObtainium17: the prices of goods will go lower, right?
[+6] u/MutaliskGluon: GDP numbers missing. Job numbers are a disaster*. Inflation is trending down. Stocks selling off on good news.
This might be it boys and girl.
*Dont hit me with january numbers being strong, you know those are getting adjusted down to crap numbers next month
