Looking for lower-AUM alternatives to PPFAS Flexicap, HDFC Flexicap & Nippon Small Cap for long-term investing
Looking for lower-AUM alternatives to PPFAS Flexicap, HDFC Flexicap & Nippon Small Cap for long-term investing
I currently invest in:
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund
HDFC Flexi Cap Fund
Nippon India Small Cap Fund
All three have become quite large in AUM now, and I'm a bit concerned about how fund size might affect future performance/agility, especially for the small cap fund.
For someone investing with a 7-10+ year horizon, what are some good alternatives with relatively smaller/mid-sized AUM in the flexi cap and small cap categories that could offer better growth potential going forward? Looking for funds with a solid track record and management, not just low AUM for the sake of it.
Would also appreciate thoughts on whether switching from large-AUM funds to smaller ones is even a wise move, or if I'm overthinking the AUM factor.
