Fundingpips is a scam exposed, Avoid, save your hard earned Money
It was not until I came to reddit to look if someone else has similar issues and realised they're a total scam in every fking way,
So I got a FundingPips 10k 2-step eval funded account which means no trailing drawdown. Rules say 4% static daily drawdown — max loss is $400 based on 10,000 equity. Not trailing. Not based on peak equity.
Here’s what they did:
My highest profit ever that day was about +$\`723
Before the last trade I took, my balance was $9,983 from $10,723 as some trades ran against me, which I'm fine with it.
That somehow made them use \`$10,272.11 at the day reset as the starting equity for the day
4% of that = 425.20 and breached me at $\`9,878.11
I set a stop loss at only -$145 (still well inside the real 4% limit Which should be $9,600\~)
The trade never even hit my stop. System auto-closed it and suspended the account.
Their reply:
“Daily Loss Limit is 4% based on the higher value between starting balance or equity… Today’s Starting Balance/Equity: \`$10,272.11… Max Daily Loss Recorded: $425.20”
That’s not static. If they can keep raising the equity number every time you make profit and then use the bigger number against you, the “static 4%” is fake.
You can rather put that money in a broker and scale it up if you can instead of these scammer prop firm.
