I'm thinking about hermes-style agents for investing

I'm thinking about hermes-style agents for investing Just like most of you I have been experimenting with using agents to do all sorts of work for me. First chatGPT and claude, but when I started using hermes agent it just felt different. Not only is it always running, which means that it can do things for you in the background without you having to initiate each conversation, but it is also malleable. It will automatically write things into its memory like most other agents nowadays, but it will also create skills and tools for whatever it is that you're doing. It can even rewrite its source code if you want. This made me think about what something similar would look like if it was focussed on investment workflows. An agent that has access to the skills and tools it needs for making investment decisions and executing on them. It could do deep research for you, make models and projections, and monitor them for when some news comes in that changes your thesis. At some point I could see something like this being in charge of a full portfolio, if the models get good enough. By connecting it to specialist tools like SEC filings, your broker, data sources, social media, and so on, it could see what you are seeing, and be proactive to the point that it can do work for you without having to ask it each time. Is this something that you need or you would want to use? Or if you are already using this, can you share more about your setup?
