Help me build a great Bogleheads ios app!
Hi Bogleheads!
I kept searching for a great app to track down real stock exposure from ETF and also track retirement. There are a tons of apps out there, so I may have missed a good one... but anyways, I decided to vibe code the app for fun. Now I am thinking it *might* actually be useful. I am posting here in the hope to get community feedback before pursuing the idea more and publishing the app.
Here is a list of features:
\- Entirely free, no ads. I intent to keep it that way;
\- Entirely local (except an optional upload to Anthropic servers as explained below), no account needed;
\- Import your portfolio either manually or by giving screenshots (this is the Anthropic part) - it is a bring your own key feature;
\- Provide total stocks exposure from stock, ETF, or ETF of ETFs - I was upset not finding that feature anywhere else;
\- Analyze your portfolio and give it a Boglehead score based on cost, diversification, simplicity, and volatility;
\- Compare your portfolio to any stock or ETF + run simulations;
\- Run retirement MC simulations

I tried to keep the "set and forget" mindset of Bogleheads. Ideally you would run the app very occasionally, making sure you are on track + do not overexpose to certain assets.
What do you guys think? Any idea to make it more useful?
Cheers!
