Silly qn - how does closing price ( due to recent cas changes) affect stock prices in long term? Not fno.
I understand that during the last 15 mins, closing price is decided in a bunch ( weighted avg of incoming bids) and hence closing price may swing in a go.
But, for someone who invests in the long term ( let's say in hdfc ) - does it impact me in any way? Or, it mostly hurts/helps the FnO trades since it triggers their but/sell.
Been looking it on internet and gpt but practically not able to get my head around it.
