[Academic] Financial Understanding & AI — 5–7 minute anonymous survey (India)
Hi everyone!
I’m an MBA student currently conducting a research study on **financial understanding, AI, and everyday financial decisions**.
The idea behind the research is quite simple:
>
We encounter financial terms and decisions all the time — EMIs, taxes, salary deductions, credit cards, investments, inflation, bank statements, etc. But understanding a term and understanding **what it actually means for your own financial situation** can be two very different things.
This survey is trying to understand:
* Which areas of finance people find difficult to understand
* How people interpret everyday financial situations
* Where people go when they don't understand something financial
* How people currently use AI tools such as ChatGPT for financial information
* The role of financial influencers and online content
* What would make complicated financial information easier to understand
* Whether people would find an AI tool that explains the *practical impact* of financial information useful
The survey takes approximately **5–7 minutes** and is **anonymous**. No names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information are required.
This is purely for **academic research**, and I would really appreciate responses from people with **all kinds of educational and professional backgrounds**, not just finance/investment enthusiasts.
**Survey:** \[[Financial Understanding, AI & Everyday Financial Decisions](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1LKGuHL7T5SCGmCdJVViV-111m6haSmTfC9dC_HBpsVQ/viewform?edit_requested=true)\]
Thank you to everyone who participates. Your responses will genuinely help me understand the problem from different perspectives. 🙏
**Optional:** If you're comfortable, upvoting the post can also help the survey reach people from different backgrounds.
