Everyone is talking about the falling market… meanwhile, this tiny FCL position is doing something completely different 👀
Nifty/market sentiment has been looking pretty ugly lately.
Meanwhile, one of the smallest positions in my portfolio has basically decided to ignore the mood of the market. 😂
FCL — Fineotex Chemical
My position:
5 shares @ ₹49.38 average
Current screenshot: ₹61.86
\+25.25% | +₹62.36
And the interesting part is how quickly the move happened.
FCL day-by-day:
🔴 Sep 1: -3.86%
🟢 Sep 2: +0.74%
🔴 Sep 3: -1.59%
🟢 Sep 4: +6.51%
🟢 Sep 7: +10.00%
🟢 Sep 8: +3.14%
That's a pretty wild sequence.
What makes this more interesting to me is that the stock went from a Sep 3 close around ₹48.4 to ₹58.44 by Sep 8 — while the broader market conversation has been dominated by weakness.
Now I'm genuinely curious:
Is this the beginning of a bigger rerating, or are we watching a small-cap momentum move that is getting overheated?
If you're following FCL, what is the one thing you're watching from here?
Fundamentals?
Volume?
Valuation?
Technical structure?
Something else?
I'd especially like to hear from people who have been following FCL for a long time.
