Complete Beginner in F&O — Should I Learn Trading or Stick to Equity?

I'm basically a zero-knowledge person when it comes to F&O and day trading.
I'm currently wondering whether I should spend time learning F&O and strategies for intraday/day trading, or whether I should just focus on equity investing and holding stocks for the long term.
For people who have experience with both:
\- Is learning F&O actually worth the time for a beginner?
\- Is it realistic to become consistently profitable if you properly learn and practice?
\- How much more risky is F&O compared with simply investing in equity?
\- Do most beginners end up losing money before they learn, or is it possible to learn without taking significant losses?
\- If you were starting from zero today, would you focus on equity first and learn F&O later?
I'm not looking for a get-rich-quick strategy. I just want to understand whether F&O is something worth spending time learning or whether I'm better off sticking to equity investing.
Any honest advice or lessons from your own experience would be appreciated.
