How can I help an addict
So unfortunately one of my parent is very addicted to gambling. Other day called me asking for money to cover his credit cards as he used all of his salary on some stocks.
Already took a lot of money from my sibling and other family members. Me and my sibling are so done with him. But cant stop feeling guilty. I‘m not the type of person to simply cut off people. So can anyone suggest me anything?
We grew up very poor because his business backfired and ate away of the inheritance. We somewhat made it out because of my sibling. But this is completely breaking us again because we can’t just leave him.
