i hope they release a shitty 3.5 pro soon so that i can buy alphabet stock for cheaper valuations than warren buffet

It feels like 2025 again. google, out of all the hyperscalers, seems to have the biggest wall of worry. in 2025, it was just search getting cannibalized. in 2026, it’s gemini not being frontier, key personnel leaving, capex expansion through debt and equity raises, and cloud margins getting shrinked for next few quarters. I feel market is focused on short term noise and not looking at the forest for the trees. Their core ads business is still an absolute cash machine and cloud business is growing exponentially. Microsoft is leasing most of their new AI infrastructure so obviously they would have better cash flow in short term than Google but no one seems to know about it. People see headline for negative cash flow and panic sell and fomo chase Microsoft when they see positive cashflow. Waymo, YouTube, Cloud are quietly taking serious market share while everyone just cries about ai benchmarks. OpenAI and Anthropic are major customers of Google cloud so every query to competitor helps them too. And no matter how much hate Gemini gets online, its token usage is still growing up exponentially. Investments in SpaceX & Anthropic, and other bets can bring lot of upside surprises too. And yeah, they have TPUs too. Please give me a completely underwhelming gemini 3.5 pro launch so the market throws another tantrum. i am ready to load up on googl shares at a massive discount and just hold them forever.
