=== COMMENTS SUMMARY ===
Top commenters counter the author’s confusion: one points to the “TINA” effect (no alternative to equities given inflation eroding cash), another notes that the broad index (SPY) actually appears flat/down while high-beta sectors are severely underperforming. There is also a consensus that a rotation into defensive/quality sectors is occurring, and that AI adoption is real and sustaining the market. Overall, the community dismisses the idea of an imminent crash and instead highlights structural flows and macro rotation.

I've officially reached the point where I don't understand what the market is pricing in anymore.
Bad economic data? Green.
Weak guidance? Green.
Geopolitical drama? Green.
Valuations that make zero sense? Believe it or not... green.
Every dip gets bought like there's an infinite money printer hidden under the NYSE floor.
So what's actually holding this thing together?
* AI hype still carrying the entire index?
* Passive inflows on autopilot?
* Buybacks?
* Retail FOMO?
* Institutions terrified of underperforming?
* Or are we just all pretending nothing matters until it suddenly does?
I'm not even saying we're about to crash. I'm genuinely trying to understand why every reason I would've expected a correction just gets shrugged off.
What am I missing? Explain it to me like I'm the guy who bought puts three weeks too early.
