I'm a big stock market enthusiast and I like staying up to date on what's going on in the market. I want to do deep dives on big tech earning calls, know why a stock is crashing, what are some expected upcoming IPOs, etc.
Currently I will skim some news articles in the morning or at lunch that will catch me up on these things. These are usually on Yahoo finance or just google news. I'll also put on some podcasts like planet money for a topic that sounds interesting when I'm say busy cooking in the kitchen for 30 mins.
Despite all of this, I still find myself lagging behind on latest updates. There's always more stuff to catch up on. Weeks get busy with work quite often and I don't find time to do the deep dives in certain areas that I'd like.
So curious how do you all stay up to date on latest stuff and what is the primary way you consume stock market information. Are you spending time reading news articles, looking at stock market data yourself, following specific social media communities like this forum, etc?
