Stayed awake every US market. The one night I slept, my SOXS call went from 0.16 to 1.33.

Summary
Post describes a trader who bought SOXS (3x inverse semiconductor ETF) calls betting on a semiconductor downturn, but the trade went against him before reversing sharply while he slept, turning a deep loss into a profit.
The author's thesis is that semiconductors were rolling over (bearish on semis), but he laments missing the move because he fell asleep; he still holds the position and is anxious.
Quality assessment: Noise / anecdotal venting — no new data, fundamental analysis, or risk management; purely a personal trading story with no actionable research.

Bought 100 SOXS $6 calls at 0.37 because I thought semis were finally rolling over.
Market immediately informed me that semiconductors were the greatest invention in human history.
Calls dropped to 0.16.
After watching futures for most of the night, I accepted defeat and went to sleep because my kids needed me.
While asleep:
* SOXS went from \~5 to 7.
* My calls hit 1.33.
* My thesis became correct.
* Every market participant became rich except me.
I woke up to discover that being right is apparently worse than being wrong.
Current position:
* Still holding.
* Still anxious.
* Still convinced the market waited for me to fall asleep.
