On April 7, I purchased 30 MU 400C call options as part of a long-term strategy. These options expire on May 1. As the expiration date approached and MU’s stock price continued to hit new highs, I began to feel a bit nervous. I decided to lock in my profits. Given the many major events coming up this week including the Fed’s interest rate decision (though the market expects rates to remain unchanged, who knows? This could be Powell’s last speech) and earnings reports from major tech companies I didn’t want to take any risks. I decided to lock in my profits while the stock price was at a high.
