Summary
The post questions why the stock market remains near all-time highs despite significant geopolitical risks (e.g., high oil prices, closed Strait of Hormuz, potential US-Iran conflict) and inflationary pressures.
The author's thesis is that the market is irrationally ignoring clear and present macroeconomic and geopolitical dangers that should lead to a downturn.
Quality assessment: Speculation. The post lists headline risks but does not analyze market structure, earnings, liquidity, or forward-looking mechanisms. It is a sentiment-driven macro question, not investment research.

\- Brent Crude oil is 40% higher compared to pre-war levels.
\- Closed strait of Hormuz with no outlook on reopening anytime soon.
\- Negotiations between US and Iran in Pakistan failed during the weekend. No outlook on reaching agreement anytime soon.
\- Real risk of US invading Iran and escalating the situation much more.
\- Inflation is higher already as a consequence of the high oil prices.
Despite all of this, the markets are almost at an ATH today. After the weekend’s development, the market will open only about 0.3% lower.
Can anyone actually explain what’s going on with the market? Why is it literally ignoring all the news and basically growing every day?
