Been reading about Anthropic’s new “Mythos” model and wanted opinions.
Quick summary:
\- It’s their most powerful AI yet
\- It can find AND exploit vulnerabilities in software
\- Reportedly found bugs in every major OS and browser
\- Even uncovered decades-old vulnerabilities
\- Not being released publicly because of security risks
Big question:
If AI can now automate vulnerability discovery and exploitation,
does this:
1) massively increase demand for cybersecurity companies
2) or make existing security tools obsolete
Trying to figure out how this affects software and cybersecurity stocks long term.
What companies actually benefit here?
