Hey everyone, I’ve been trading for a few years now and looking back at some of my trades I can’t help but laugh and cry at the same time 😅 Blindly adding to positions I would see my account go up a bit and think, “Let’s add more, this one will definitely double.” Then the stock would flip on me faster than flipping a page. The money I lost ended up being more than what I gained and now I understand that profits are taken, not gambled. Chasing the hype Stocks hyped up in the news or on social media? I used to jump in blindly only to see them stall or drop the next day. I have learned now to do your homework before placing a trade and not blindly chase trends. Not managing position size When I was younger and brash I wanted to grab every opportunity at once. The result was my account would scare me so much I did not even want to look.
