Luca Mining (TSX-V: LUCA) just reported a major drill intercept at its Campo Morado mine in Mexico — 136 metres grading 1.6 g/t gold, 77 g/t silver, 0.9% copper and 1.6% zinc.
That’s not a narrow high-grade spike — that’s a long, continuous intercept with strong multi-metal value, and it’s located near existing underground infrastructure. This matters because it suggests real expansion potential with lower development risk.
The Largo Norte zone was previously under-drilled, and this hole extends mineralization westward. Follow-up drilling is already underway.
Long intercepts like this at a producing asset can potentially translate into:
\- Increased resource estimates
- Extended mine life
- Higher production visibility
- Stronger long-term cash flow potential
If additional drilling confirms continuity, this could materially impact the valuation narrative.
Worth watching closely.
