I mostly follow Peter Lynch’s approach, read his amazing books a few years ago. One thing that always annoyed me is that every financial platform out there is designed for day traders. I am sick of their endless breaking news, trending tickers, options flow, social sentiment… Just pure noise. Because when you’re trying to evaluate whether a business is worth owning for 5 years, watching the price flash red and green every second is the worst thing you can do for your decision making.
Anyway, a few days ago, discovered this platform called Grid Oasis https://app.gridoasis.com/
It’s clearly a newer startup I guess, but it is surprisingly polished. Clean interface, no ads, no trending meme stocks section. Just fundamentals.
The part that got me though is they have three AI analysts, each based on a different investing legend. For example, GridBrain is based on Peter Lynch, my favorite one. You click one on any stock page and it runs a useful analysis through that investor’s framework.
I ran GridBrain on a few stocks I already own and honestly it was like reading a Peter Lynch analysis. PEG ratio, earnings consistency, whether the business is something you can understand etc, all the stuff from “One Up on Wall Street” book. It even flagged some things I’d missed.
I reached out to their team and they seem pretty resourceful and ambitious, small operation but the platform quality doesn’t reflect that. They are working on mobile apps currently.
Worth checking out if you’re a fundamentals person who’s tired of those rusty platforms designed for speculation.
